Film Promotion

Here at Watch This Space Films I strive to aid independent film makers to get the publicity they both need and deserve. When the average person thinks of films they think Hollywood blockbusters, big budget films made to make money and simply entertain people for 90 minutes. My aim is simple, to show people there are more films than that churned out by Hollywood.

I am an independent film promoter, I have worked with film makers from around the world and helped them to get the coverage they need. I have worked on a variety of films from sci-fi right through to documentaries. I have worked on short films and features, fundraising campaigns and finished projects. Whatever the need is for your project, I can help. This is what I can offer.

I will talk to you, usually via email or Facebook , to get a clear idea on what you’re looking for. I will informally interview you, getting some background on your film, where it came from, how it was made and where you want it to go. I will then, with all this information, write an article about you, your cast and crew, the film itself and where my readers can find it.

I will then promote this article via my social media connections using sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and more. My social media connects consist of hundreds of producers, production companies, film makers, actors, screenwriters, distributors, talent agencies, other film websites and, of course, independent film fans. This is a network I have painstakingly built over a period of three years.

I will then compose a press release with all of the information you provided me with. I will send this press release out to my mailing list which, again, consists of a large amount of film websites, podcasts, talent agencies and production companies. These recipients have all signed up to my mailing list and will, if they choose, write an article themselves, with the information provided, and publish it on their websites and discuss it on their podcasts.

I also run a lot of competitions on my social networking sites. In order to win these competitions they are directed to your website, YouTube page, social networking page etc. This increases traffic to your chosen website and encourages more people to see of read about your film.

I have recently been in talks with some independent film distributors. These distributors are all looking for different types of films, some documentaries, some sci-fi and fantasy, some only deal with shorts and others only features. So no matter what type of film yours is I am sure I can find a distributor for you. I also have affiliations with a number of independent film streaming websites which work much in the same way as Netflix and LOVEFiLM Instant. So you could have your film added to an indie film streaming database for the world to see.

Below there are a number of testimonials from some of my previous clients describing my service so scroll down and see for yourself.

If you’re interested in having your film promoted then please email me on: watchthisspacefilmpromotions@gmail.com

I hope to hear from you and please, if you have any questions don’t hesitate to email me and ask.

  1. I am an independent film maker and Actor. It is difficult to get your work noticed in such a competitive field especially when some films have huge budgets behind them.

It is then refreshing to come across Oliver Willis at watchreadreview.com who is willing to lend a helping hand. So far I have had the good fortune of Oliver reviewing not one but two of my Features (I am Cursed & Project Evolution). He is objective, articulate and intelligent enough to judge where the storyline is going.

Here to future collaborations & heartfelt appreciation for taking time out to give us indie makers a legup in our quest to be noticed.

  2. Oliver Willis is a blessing! When I first saw his website I was immediately drawn in by its refreshing design and articulate copy. Being a writer myself, I particularly enjoyed the crispness of his style and the thought he’d put into his topics. So when it came time to announce the start of “Predator One”, it was a real no-brainer to work with Oliver on the coverage of the project.

It’s sites like this and people like Oliver that make indie production so different from the industry experience, and it’s details like that that make me an indie film maker at heart, even though I do work in the heart of the Hollywood biz as well.

All I can say is, support this man and his site!

    Onwards!

  3. Oliver Willis is the future of indie film marketing! Being an Writer/Director/Producer/Actor myself, I look for inexpensive ways to market my works. His style and the way he did my film marketing I have never seen before.

It’s business men like Oliver that will innovate the way film marketing is done. So many companies charge an arm, two legs, one lung and an ulna to market independent films. This is no longer necessary. With films budgets going toward high paid actors, crew and runaway production cost. Oliver has taken upon him self to separate himself and help all us film makers out. Thanks Oliver!

So when you do your next film budget. Make sure you add Oliver to that budget. For for less than a cup of coffee you can market your films.

Look forward to working with Oliver Willis in the near, very near future.

    Excellent work!

    Sincerely,

  4. Oliver is very good to work with and flexible too.I needed someone who was understanding, knowledgeable and flexible. Oliver certainly fits the bill and I only paid £10 (at time I took up the offer).Even with the price rise to £20,I would definately continue to do future business with Oliver should I need your services again.

    Well done.

  5. Oliver is a good indie promoter. He look at my film with open eyes and mind. He is someone I can work with. I found him on Linkedin.com in the group of Independent screenwriter and filmmakers. I will continue to do film business with him. Thanks Oliver…

  6. Having just worked with Oliver I would definitely recommend him to anyone who has a feature in the works that needs exposure. He has an amazing ability to get to the core of your project and promote those highlights to the wider filmmaking and and film watching community.
